Steve, Alicia, Bill and I get together to go over things for the flick once again and set call times. Like every other meeting we have, we always get off topic, and the meeting goes long. We talk about other projects we’d like to do in the future, and Santa’s List comes up, as well as some other ideas that Alicia and Steve have floating around.
Steve brought a big box full of props that he’s accumulated for the flick. These two people are hard core. The badge he put together for the Detective looks nice and he shows some props he has for the lead character’s place and what he plans to do with it as far as dressing it. We also go over some logistics of the shoot.
Sue runs out to grab some pizzas to feed everyone and we continue to go over some more stuff for the shoot as well as tell Steve some extra stuff that we may need prop wise.
Tonight, we’re all supposed to watch Double Indemnity but Steve can’t kick it with us so he leaves. Leanne and Kyle make it over and we all sit on my back deck to peep the flick. I’m a little nervous as the movie’s from 1944 and black and white so I’m not sure how these people will take to it.
Everyone really seems to enjoy the movie, which is a relief and we talk about it for a little bit before breaking out Rock Band on the 360. We all seem to have a great time and Leanne somehow takes to the drums like a fish to water. Jesse, Alicia’s boyfriend, comes by to take her home and we continue to rock the back deck until the wee hours of the morning.
